St Albans- the picturesque town
A promised, some photos that reveal why St Albans is so popular with visitors both from UK and overseas. This is final in my series (for now at least).
This was a beautiful building and garden that I spotted on the way from the rail station to the city centre. I took the scenic route rather than the short walk over the bridge.
A view of St Albans Cathedral
On the way from the cathedral to the little village nearby.
The green by St Albans cathedral
Japanese peace pillar behind the cathedral
The winding road leading from the city centre to the countryside beyond.
Monastery Close
St Peter's church at the other end of town.
